First Fruits: Harvesting Creative Nourishment
through Writing + Dance
a special workshop with Emily Trinkaus & Duncan Green
Saturday, August 3rd, 9:30am-1:00pm; sliding scale $25-40
at Fusion: 302 Columbia St. NW, Olympia (98501)
Join Duncan and Emily for a unique exploration of the mutually co-nutritious practices of dance and writing. We’ll alternate between lightly facilitated movement and writing in response to fun, inspiring prompts, in an atmosphere of safety, support and non-judgment.
This event coincides with Lammas – the halfway point between Solstice and Equinox when we gather to celebrate and give thanks for the first harvest. We’ll explore what’s coming to fruition in our lives, and dream into the seeds we’re sowing for future harvests.
All are welcome – no prior writing or dance experience required. Please contact Emily with any questions.
Pre-registration required – sign up!
